Tiny House, Big Heart…Home

Ira’s Heart Homes, LLC is a company created to provide residential villages with permanent housing of 300 to 400 sq. ft. along with supportive resources, for Veterans and women of domestic violence.

Ira’s Heart Homes, a California LLC was created in 2016 by Glynis Sheppard, CEO.

The vision for the “tiny house” villages grew from the acknowledgement that there is an unquestionable need to help the many homeless and misfortunate, men, women and children.

Ira’s Heart Homes, LLC functions as a profitable business, a unique competitor, beginning with our holistic service concept and includes the diversity of our designs. The company fulfills the critical societal need for housing.

Our mission is to provide shelter, comfort and resources to enhance our client’s daily lifestyles.

Ira’s Heart Homes, LLC builds small homes to serve most residential housing needs. Our company produces the “tiny house” product on a per order basis. Ira’s Heart Homes, LLC maintains a pre order inventory of bare framed structures for express delivery of product through affiliate builders. We operate with a streamline, build and deliver process.

We utilize a Certified Access Specialist (CASp) consultant for ADA and any other necessary resident modification requirements allowed in accordance with our legal and fiscal guidelines. Appropriate inspections are scheduled for each ADA unit during the construction process.

With our multi-unit village projects, we have a design concept that has economic as well as socially supportive components to ensure a sense of security, belonging and pride for all residents. As an integral part of the community, Ira’s Heart Homes, LLC provides residents with an onsite supportive services center to assist with access to various resources such as food banks, counseling centers, and transportation services. This feature allows for a comprehensive connection to help improve resident’s overall well-being.

Ira’s Heart Homes, LLC views seniors, homeowners, the many Domestic violence victims and Homeless Veterans as the target markets. The Veteran communities are non-gender specific and therefore, provide for integral support, much like any community. The placement of residents is coordinated through Heartfelt Housing Management Group with social service agencies and supported with a veteran advisory process. Ideally, the homes will be in an established minimalist (300sqft - 700sqft) dwelling community, or a provisioned Veteran or Women of Domestic Violence Facility.

The company is located within 50 miles of major city infrastructure, education centers and homelessness support entities. The office is the smallest of three structures, but the most publicly accessible. There is a model viewing area adjacent to the office where completed homes may be placed.

Implementation The established customer base is a compilation of occupants of local shelters and referrals from veteran agencies, all, awaiting notification of available housing. We also, have exposure with press releases to social media entities, non-profit agencies and local Chambers of Commerce. Ira’s Heart Homes, LLC has a website. Our marketing links are offered to associated businesses i.e. contractors’ unions, Foreign Legions and women’s organizations.
